Faces of Hunger:
More Ways to Serve
We need your time and talent.
Volunteers are essential to Second Harvest Heartland’s mission to end hunger. From data entry to driving and photography to special events, here are ways you can volunteer your time as an individual: Individual Volunteer Opportunities.
Groups of volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs–a situation that’s tailor-made for team-building exercises, corporate charity events, church groups and more. Your group will touch hundreds, possibly thousands, of lives of people in need in our service area. For more information, visit our Group Volunteer Opportunities page.
Food and Fund Drives
Each year, hundreds of local businesses, school and church groups, state agencies, individuals and many others sponsor fund and food drives that benefit Second Harvest Heartland. Even a small team can make a big difference. How about organizing a drive for your neighborhood or office? The information on our site makes it easy. Visit Food and Fund Drives for great tips and information.
More ways to give.
